October 24, 2025 - Groundbreaking on Station 2

**Update** On August 26, 2025  a construction contract with Scott Hedrick Construction was finalized.  May 2026 is the expected completion date.

The Kuna Rural Fire District is excited to announce the location of Station #2. The site is located on W. Kuna RD., just west of S. Ten Mile RD., which is directly across the street from the Madrone Heights subdivision. The gift deed for the 2-acre parcel has now been recorded with Ada County and our next step is to proceed with an annexation request into the city of Kuna. We sincerely thank the community for their support in making Station #2 south of the tracks a reality. This wouldn't be possible without the passage of the bond and the donation of land from Timothy Eck.
